Berlin is a little guy with a whole lot of character. You can find him chewing on his favourite toys or snuggled up for a solid nap (FYI he is a snorer). Berlin is a very laid-back, easygoing boy in the environment he is comfortable with. Berlin will need time to adjust and may whine or bark when left alone initially but settles quite quickly. He may be okay in an apartment building with thicker walls. He does like to bark during play or when he is startled by a loud noise.

Berlin really enjoys the simple life. His picture perfect home would be with a confident, gentle handler, someone or a couple who lives a very routine lifestyle with not too many comings and goings. He does not like to travel and can get carsick on longer car rides. He does become anxious and insecure in new situations and in defense becomes reactive (will bark) towards other dogs and new people who are uncomfortable around him. Berlin does still jump people (he is comfortable with) and gives them an abundance of kisses but otherwise he is very respectful. Berlin has only been able to make two doggy friends (his foster brothers which he grew up with). As mentioned, he is insecure and often other pups don’t like that / and vice versa. So no dog in the home is a must for Berlin. He may potentially be able to make friends with laid-back, confident non–confrontational K9s.

Berlin does have some food allergies but is managed well with a fish or venison diet. Otherwise he is a healthy young lad.
