Dart is a lovely, easy going puppy looking for his perfect family. He is playful and loves hanging around his favourite humans and dogs.

Dart is initially a bit shy, especially when meeting new dogs or large groups of humans. However, he quickly warms up to them. He knows how to walk on leash very well. When he encounters other people, cars or bicycles on his walks, he can be a bit nervous, but he’s getting better. He looks up to dogs he trusts for confidence. Although it is not required, he would prefer a family with another confident dog.

Dart has not met cats and would do better in a cat free home. He would also do better in a home with older children. He is crate trained: Dart can eat his meals and sleep in his crate. He can stay there for several hours without too much complaint. Dart is almost potty trained: he still has the occasional accident. As such, we recommend a family that can be at home more often. He does okay in the car as well.

Dart is still growing but is expected to be a medium energy dog. Two walks per day and some play time outside would be enough. He is learning to sit and wait for treats, and would love a family who can continue his training.

Dart has lots of favourite activities: play fighting with his foster sister, fetching, and taking walks. But cuddling up on the couch on his favourite humans is what he does best. With Dart, blankets are not needed anymore!
