Echo

After spending some time in rescue learning manners and how to start on a path of being the best doggy she can be, the beautiful, sweet and intelligent Echo is now in search for her forever home! This girl is looking for a very active home who will take her on adventures daily to help her burn her energy. Whether that is running or jogging or going for a hike in the woods, she is always ready to go, go, go with her people and a home who will give her at least one hour of exercise a day is a must. Once exercised, she turns into the best cuddle buddy anyone could ask for!

Echo is a very intelligent girl who likes to test boundaries and needs a home who will ensure boundaries are very clear for her and positively reinforced. She is extremely easy to train but can be described as stubborn so will need humans who are up for the fun and rewarding challenge of being more stubborn than her! Echo now has a large repertoire of obedience commands and tricks and is eager to show off and share them.

Echo is crate trained and house trained. She loves to play with canine friends but does tend to go over the top and not know when to stop playing. She will need human guidance on when its time for a time out as she will not take cues from other dogs and can be a bit too much! A home with a senior dog or a dog who wants to be left alone and not play will not be a match for Echo. Echo has met a cat and was not phased by the feline presence but there were other dogs for her to play with so we expect her to be playful and maybe chase cats if she doesn’t have distractions!

Echo is looking for an experienced home who can continue the amazing work that her foster parents have done with her. She came into rescue as an out of control puppy and is now turning into a great teenager but she will need continued training and owners who will not push over and cave to her wants. Exercise is a minimum of 1-2 hours a day for this girl and she is used to running 5-12 km with her foster mom every morning. A tired dog is a happy dog after all!

Echo is terrified of children and must be adopted into a home with no children under 14 years of age. Any adopter must be ok with her never being around kids.
