Hendrix

Hendrix is a smart and high energy boy who loves his people dearly. He is looking for an adopter who will commit to further training and an active lifestyle. Hendrix is highly food motivated and has been working with a trainer who describes him as an awesome dog who is highly trainable. Hendrix needs an outlet for his energy and requires a minimum of one hour of exercise a day and mental stimulation to be a happy and healthy boy. He would be a great running partner and may be a candidate for dog sports.

Hendrix can live with another dog but his adopter will need to provide structure as he is quite excitable with his playstyle. Hendrix has gone on a structured pack walk and was polite. Continuing with structured pack walks will help with his socialization around other dogs. He has shown some prey drive while on walks but is easy to redirect back to his person with high value rewards. Hendrix loves to be with his people and will gladly curl up on the couch while binge watching a Netflix series!
