Meet Mac. Mac is a beautiful girl ready to provide all of the drive by and bonking kisses you could ever want! She adores her people and even making friends with even more people. You see, she sees people as wonderful cuddling partners and just can’t stand not giving out and kisses and cuddles like candy to kids on Halloween! Mac knows a few impressive commands like sit, down, leave it and gentle and hopes that her new person would consider taking her to training classes or teaching her more as she is a fan of treats and praise too!
Mac is house and crate trained. She is considered a low to medium energy girl and one walk a day and some play interaction with her people is enough to keep her very happy. She is able to have dog friends but needs slow introductions as her first instinct is to not be fond of other dogs. When Mac is in her crate, she will bark and so is not ideal in attached housing. Speaking of barking, Mac is also a talker in play and will talk to you with grumbles and silly noises. She’s a bit of a clown sometimes and shows you both a goofy and sweet side.
When meeting new people, as described above, Mac can seem shy. This means she will needs some guidance to make sure interactions with people are always positive. Forcing her into stranger situations, or living in a busy household (a home with new visitors weekly, for instance) might be too much action for Mac. Once she knows someone, she certainly will shower them with love next time she sees them too.
