Madison is the definition of a good girl! She is sweet, loving, loyal and one of the funniest creatures around. Maddie absolutely adores her people but also just about anyone that crosses her path, her tails wags a mile of minute and your biggest concern having Maddie around is the happy tail that never seems to stop wagging!

Madison currently lives with several other dogs and gets along well with them as long as they give her her space and aren’t too overwhelming. Madison will be a match for calm, respectful dogs but would be overwhelmed with young exuberant puppies. Maddie absolutely adores going for her daily walks and will go anywhere with you as she loves a car ride!

Madison is fully crate trained and rarely makes a peep when left at home. Although she is okay with her people being gone for a typical work day, she would love someone home with her a little more often. Maddie is fully house trained but may have a few accidents when settling into a new home and routine.

One of Maddie’s favourite activities is watching and chasing squirrels. This little lady does have some prey drive so cats and other small animals in the home are not a match for her. Maddie is truly a wonderful dog, if you feel like she’s you future best friend please apply.

  • Special: Madison is looking for a home where someone is not away for more than 3 full workdays a week initially.  She has some outstanding basic vetting that is being completed at our clinic in West Ottawa and so we are looking for a home within an hour of Ottawa/Gatinea that can attend these appointments.  Madison is not a candidate for dog parks so if this is important to you please do not apply.  Madi is Ehrlichia positive (tick borne disease) and is not symptomatic - full urine and blood tests have been done to ensure no treatment is required.  She will require tick preventative so be sure to budget for this.
  • Adoption Fee: $850
