Peaches

The amazing people at Save a Dog Network in Manitoba found Peaches after she was hit by a car. Peaches was then flown to Ottawa and brought in our care so that she could receive a surgery to help save her leg. Peaches has been doing well post surgery but does still need further vetting to make sure her leg continues to heal well.

Peaches is a very sweet girl with a loving heart. She enjoys being around her people but is still adjusting to life as an inside pooch. She would love a home where someone is with her more often. Peaches is needing a dog free home but could potentially make dog friends outside of the house, as long as slow and controlled introductions can happen. Peaches is currently fostered with a cat and could live with another dog-savvy feline who will respect her space.

Peaches is still working on her mobility post surgery but has so far been enjoying short walks and loves sunbathing on the back deck. Once Peaches is fully recovered, we expect that she would be a dog who would love long walks and plenty of outside time.

Peaches is looking for a patient person who will continue to help her recover and put her on the path to success. Does that sound like you?
