Phillipa

Phillipa, nicknamed Pippa, is a sweet, gentle soul who loves to watch the world from a distance. She is a very shy girl who takes time to warm up to people. Once she is comfortable with her people, she does a happy dance when she sees them and is generous with the cuddles and kisses.

Pippa needs another confident dog in the home to give her confidence and show her how to be a dog. Pippa has not met a cat while in care,
she would do best in a cat free home. Pippa is very nervous around new people she would do best in a home with older children or no children. Pippa is a medium energy dog, once she is comfortable with her people she will happily go for a walk. If anything scares her on the walk she likes to go back home to her safe space. Pippa will need a family who will go at her pace and not rush her. She will need a family who can work on building her confidence, she will need a quiet home life. Pippa requires a fenced in yard in her forever home, she loves to play
and walk around her backyard exploring all the smells and chasing squirrels.

Pippa is not crate trained but does well sectioned off to a room in the house. Pippa is fully potty trained but does sometimes nervous pee
when she is spooked. Pippa is a very quiet girl. Her favorite pastimes are exploring the backyard and chewing on a bull horn or dentastick.
Pippa is good in the car and enjoys the ride so long as she can look out the window.

Pippa needs a family who can be her advocate and show her the world isn’t so scary. When she is comfortable she is a happy go lucky little
