Simba
Hakuna Matata! Introducing Simba!
Simba is a very energetic, smart and sweet boy! He is looking for a home that has experience with high energy breeds and who is interested in dog training. Simba is a lovely boy who is food motivated, intelligent and loves to learn and train.
He is still working on his manners when seeing his favourite people as he gets very excited and can be jumpy and mouthy (mouthy meaning that he jumps and will try to grab your clothing with his mouth due to overexcitement) but with the right person and positive based reinforcement, he will soon be the best house guest.
Simba loves his people and attention. He is extremely cuddly and loves to nestle his head in your lap or across your chest for pets and cuddles.
He is crate trained, house trained, great on leash and great in the car. Currently Simba lives with two female dogs who he loves to play with. He would do well in a home with another playful pup. Simba has met many kids in the neighbourhood while on walks. He is very respectful with them while on leash and with some fine tuning of his manners, we feel he could live with older, respectful children at one point. He loves to meet new people everywhere he goes.
As Simba is such a smart boy, he would benefit from food puzzles, kongs and any enrichment games. Are you ready to find your forever adventure buddy?
