Vanessa

Vanessa (aka Nessa) is a shy dog in new situations and will need a loving owner to be her advocate.  Treats are the great motivator, and as long as she has the space to make the decision to approach strangers, she will warm up to kind humans!  She is so very sweet and playful once she feels she is in a safe space!  She loves to play and run around her fenced yard with her puppy friends, and loves to have lots of toys around!  She is learning to walk on leash, and this is a work in progress for the little one as the world is overwhelming.  We believe she would do well in a positive reinforcement doggy training classes.

She loves when she is invited up for a cuddle with her person and just melts into you so perfectly, making you feel like whatever plans you had for the rest of the day must be put on hold because you have now been enveloped in pure happiness and love.  She is such a great cuddler, and even if you work from home, she would be happy to curl up on your lap while you work if you can spare the room!

She is still needs lots of praise and encouragement with housetraining, and her person will need to ensure she gets frequent breaks outside.  She will benefit from a home that will provide her with structure as she does great knowing her schedule.  We know she would love to spend her days with her people, maybe a retired couple or single person,  or with a work from home (or hybrid) set-up.   She is good in her pen, but will cry and bark when she needs out or hears a noise.

Vanessa is a medium energy dog who would love someone to play with, and cuddle with.  If you need a best buddy with super great ears, Vanessa might be your girl.
