Kenji
Kenji is an outgoing guy who loves to meet both dogs and people. He loves to play fetch in the backyard and help with some gardening aka digging holes. He is easily forgiven when he comes to you with his little nose full of dirt looking to give kisses. Kenji loves to rip around the backyard despite his disability and when he wants attention from a dog he makes a sound that if you didn’t know was him you would think it’s a rooster.
Kenji loves other dogs and requires another dog in the home. The other dog in the home would need to be tolerant of a playful puppy but respectful of his limitations, although he does love to wrestle. Kenji has not met a cat while in care, he would do best in a cat free home. Kenji requires a home with older, respectful, dog savvy children. Kenji is a medium energy guy, due to his disability he requires multiple short walks a day as opposed to longer walks. He will never be a candidate for a jogging partner or hiking partner unless his family is willing to carry him. Kenji cannot do stairs, his forever family would need to be committed to carrying him up and down the stairs if he lives in a two story home. Kenji loves to wrestle and
play but sometimes as he gets older he gets sore, his forever family will have to keep an eye on him to ensure if isn’t overdoing it.
Kenji is fully crate trained and potty trained although he does not enjoy the rain so may have an accident during inclement weather. Kenji loves to run around with his dog friends in the backyard. Kenji has a disability will forever affect his life but he knows no different but he can be very dramatic when something scares him or he doesn’t like something. Kenji loves his people and loves his dog buddies.
