Kinley
Kinley is a mix of sweet, shy and smart! She learns quickly which people she would like to trust and absorbs all of their gentle kindness. She’d love a quiet home that likes to play in the fenced yard with her. She is not keen on being a social butterfly at all, so a simple life at home is her idyllic dream. She is energetic and loves to play outdoors and will do so while you garden or read outside. She is always ready for a game of “half-fetch” where you throw a toy and she sorta-kinda fetches, haha. She does like to patrol the yard for squirrels and birds to keep them out, and also does like to play with her doggy friends. She loves running around with other dogs and in a bit of a rough and tumble way. She relies on other dogs a lot for confidence when in new situations, so having another dog in the home that can help her with her trust will be necessary. Treats also help her gain confidence in new situations, so always bring some along!
She loves to come inside and sit on the armrest or back of the sofa and nap after a good play. She sometimes will request a cuddle, but is quite content to just be nearby. As she feels more and more comfortable, she’s seeking out those cuddles. She is crate trained and goes in for her 2 meals per day and also quietly at night. If she thinks she is being left out of play outside though, she will complain with sad, over-exaggerated barks and cries.
We know she would love to spend her days with her people, maybe a retired couple or work from home (or hybrid) set-up, but she can make it through a full work day a couple of times per week.
Kinley is an interactive and happy girl once she feels safe in her home. She’s eager to get started on the next chapter, so if you have the right home environment as described in her full profile, and you are ready to add this little bean into your world, she’s worth your consideration!
