Delilah

Delilah is a shy little lady that is just waiting to feel safe and loved before her excited personality shines through.  She wants a life full of love and fun, and toys and treats! She hangs back in a new setting, absorbing as much as she can, and will need encouragement  to be brave (treats help!).  This is why she is looking for a calm home life with easy going and gentle humans.  She is an active pup, but not hyperactive.  She loves to play in her fenced in yard and throw her toys around like a wildling. At the end of the day, you can catch her coming up on the sofa to crash right next to you!
She plays well with other dogs but does like to run around and be rough and tumbly,  so any dog in the home would have to be okay with this.  She will benefit from a home that will provide her with lots of interactive playtime, but also structure, as she does great knowing her schedule.  She still needs praise with housetraining, and needs regular breaks outside to be successful.  She is good in her crate and can usually make it through the night!
She is learning to walk on leash, and this is a work in progress for the little one as the world is a lot to take in. Always bring very yummy treats along!  She would definitely benefit from a positive reinforcement doggy training classes.
We know she would love to spend her days with her people, maybe a retired couple or work from home (or hybrid) set-up.  Delilah is a sweet girl and will thrive in a calm home with fun-loving people!
