Koda
Furever wanting to have pets and belly rubs, Koda will instantly become everyone’s best friend. He is an extremely personable doggo and can be the hit of the party ( actually has been the hit of our parties). Not only is he loving attention from other humans, he also gets along with other dogs but he needs a slow intro.
Koda can be reactive on a leash which we are currently working on some training, but he will benefit from a walk during less busy times. He is very food motivated which helps with his training. He loves to play catch and he has recently started to swim.
Koda has a number of basic commands in his repertoire, however, is not quite comfortable being crate trained. Koda loves all things that come with being a young adult and will let out a quiet howl to voice his need for attention or happiness. He will only bark when needing to come indoors and doesn’t mind visitors to the house as he is calm as a mouse when there are knocks or a doorbell. However, when his favourite human leaves the house he will voice his objections to being left alone.
Koda can be an exceptional companion to any household, with his only limitation being his reluctance to be left alone. This level of anxiety will need to be understood with ability/availability to be managed as Koda grows with you and your family.
This boys’ perfect home is one that has a “hooman” at home most of the time. If this is your type of arrangement, Koda can be the newest and best addition to your family.
