Scout
We are pleased to introduce Scout!
Scout is a little girl with a big personality! She was shy when first arriving to her foster home but has come a long way with the excellent care and guidance of her foster family!
Scout is now a typical, happy puppy! She loves to play tug of war and wrestle with her brother!
She loves to play with her human siblings and loves children! She currently lives with 4 kids aged 7 and up! She mas met younger kids and done well but we are recommending kids 6+ as puppy teeth can be sharp and she grows bigger puppies sometimes don’t know their own size, and strength!
Scout currently lives with her puppy brother and enjoys playing and wresting with him! She is definitely the boss of the pair and we think she would do well living with another dog who can put up with silly puppy antics! She shows curiosity towards meeting other dogs although she has not been allowed to yet due to her age and vaccine status.
Scout is smart! She is a fast learner and is showing great progress with her house and crate training! She enjoys puzzles and enrichment games and going for short walks. We believe she will be an active and energetic dog who may make a great jogging partner in the future!
Scout travels well in the car and will likely be up to accompanying you any future adventures once she’s old enough!
Scout is also a cuddler and a Taylor Swift fan! She enjoys being held by her foster mom while they dance to music!
Puppies are a big commitment and we would love to see Scout’s people take her to positive reinforcement training classes so her humans can learn how to best communicate and help her grow into the best girl! Scout is a happy puppy right now and who she becomes will depend on your love, patience and guidance!

- Special: This puppy needs a midday break at minimum, if you are away from the home during the day to help with housetraining. This puppy is looking for a home in the Ottawa/Gatineau area as she still has standard vetting covered by the adoption fee to be completed at our vet in Ottawa West.
