Rusty

We are pleased to introduce Rusty! 

After a bit of a rough start to life, Rusty is so ready to find her forever home!

Rusty is a happy sweet girl who loves to play and loves hard on her people!

Rusty is a medium energy pup who loves off leash play in the yard but also loves a good walk so she can experience all the new smells and sights! She loves to play with both her humans and her fur sibling!

Rusty loves to follow her humans around the house and assist in all of your daily activities! If you can put a dog in bed near the kitchen she would love that as she enjoys a good nap while you’re cooking in the kitchen!

Rusty is a smart girl who loves to learn new things! She is house trained, and crate trained although she does suffer from a little anxiety when you leave her. She can cry and whine a little but settles quickly and has done a few hours crated at a time. 

Rusty like to chew! She may ask you to hold her chew toy or bone while she enjoys it which is a really great way to help her relax as well as bind with you! She can also chew things (like crocs) which she should not so making sure she has access to her own toys and chew things is important!

Rusty does live with another dog and we think she would love a canine companion! She can get a but jealous when sharing your attention with another dog but she is getting much better with reassurance and positive reinforcement. She would love a dog friend who has similar play style to her as dogs that play too hard can scare her a bit. Rusty does not live with kids but she has met them and has been gentle and playful!

Rusty does well on car rides and would make an excellent adventure buddy! Are you looking for a forever companion who will love you forever and  be up for any adventure? Her enthusiasm for life is infectious and she is a total sweetheart!
