Hi everyone! I’m Larry!
Larry is a sweet, gentle pup who loves nothing more than curling up for cuddles and quiet moments. When he first came into foster care, he was a little shy, but he’s already showing how smart he is—he goes right to the door when he needs to go outside and is really catching on to potty training.
He’s curious and adventurous in the best way, always ready to sniff out something new or explore a corner of the yard. He can be timid at times, especially in new environments, but with patience and love, he blossoms into a more confident boy every day.
Larry loves to learn and would thrive with positive reinforcement training and plenty of encouragement. Another calm dog in the home could help him feel secure, but he’d also do well as a single pup with someone who gives him time and reassurance. Regular playdates with other friendly dogs would be wonderful.
When he’s had enough play, he happily settles down and soaks up attention or takes a cozy nap. Larry is ready to grow into someone’s loyal companion—he just needs the right home to help him shine.

- Dogs: Yes please! Could be an only dog with regular puppy playdates.
- Cats: Untested but possibly with a dog savvy cat who will tolerate a puppy trying to play
- Kids: 6+ and dog savvy
- Housing: Single or townhome where some barking is okay.
- Fenced yard: Ideal.
- Location: Ottawa/Gatineau area - he has vetting to complete at our vet in Ottawa.
- Special: Larry would need a midday break to start as he continues to work on his housetraining. Preference given to adopters willing to attend positive reinforcement classes.
