Mocha

Mocha is a good boy who is surely to brighten anyone’s day. He is shy at first but once he trusts you he will shower you with love and cuddles. His favourite spot is anywhere close to his humans, be it on your lap or right next to you. Mocha looks to other dogs and to his humans for comfort, he likes to lean on his humans to show his love.

Mocha is cautious in his approach to new dogs but warms up quickly. He requires another buddy in the home to give him confidence. With his dog buddy he loves to be close to them. Mocha lives with cats, he was initially unsure about the cats but he now coexists with them happily. Mocha has not met any kids while in care, because of his nervous nature we are asking for older kids in the home or no kids. Mocha is a medium energy dog. He loves going for walks and gets very excited when it is walk time, he waits for them all day then when it is walk time he waits at the door to go on an adventure.  He loves to play and is currently learning how to fetch, his zoomies are also so comforting to witness.

Mocha is fully potty trained, he is also crate trained and can be in his crate for a full work day. When Mocha hears the treat bag he runs into his crate and patiently awaits his treat. Mocha is food motivated and has great house manners but does occasionally like to nibble on slippers. Mocha is nervous in the car and does get car sick on long rides. Mocha is such a sweetheart, he is gentle and loving and will wiggle his way into your heart. His happy howl (song) that he lets out when he is happy, will undoubtedly make any day brighter.
