Rowdy

Rowdy is friendly, outgoing, playful and feisty. He is easy going and keen to please. He fears missing out on anything so has to get in there when any movement takes place!
Rowdy does well with other dogs, he respects dogs when they don’t want to play but will bark a bit to try to convince. He could live with another dog or be an only dog with doggy friend playdates. Rowdy has not met a cat while in care, he could live with a dog savvy cat with slow intros. Rowdy has been around kids and done well, he could live in a home with dog savvy children. Rowdy is a medium energy dog, he loves wrestling with his brother and the other big dogs in the home. He loves to go on trail walks and explore the gardens and then naps hard after.
Rowdy is working on his crate training but he will need continued support from his forever family. His potty training is going well, he mostly poops outside but has the occasional pee accident. Rowdy will run to the dog with his foster mom to go outside to the bathroom. Rowdy loves toys, tug of war, chasing balls, meeting people and dogs, going for walks and basically anything the other dogs are doing. Rowdy loves belly rubs. Rowdy is a smart boy and he would love a family who can bring him to positive reinforcement training classes. Rowdy is food motivated and has good recall.
Rowdy has a funny, friendly personality with lots of love to give. He wants to be a part of everything but when he’s tired he will go to another room to nap. He loves to cuddle with the big dogs and will snuggle his people for a short while before going off on his own to nap.
