Introducing the sweetest boy… Ishmael!

Ishmael is ready and excited to find his forever home! Ishmael is a happy boy who loves his people and just wants to please everyone he meets!

Ishmael currently lives in a home without children but he has successfully met respectful children at events and while out in public and has done very well! We believe Ishmael could live with other dogs with slow and proper introductions. We do believe Ishmael has some sensitivity in terms of being pet on his legs by people he doesn’t know so he would do best with children who are older and who will respect this. Once he is comfortable and trusts you however, he’ll be asking for all the pets and cuddles!

Ishmael is a very easy-going guy at home! He is medium energy and will happily accompany you on an hour long walk or hike and then just as happily curl up next to you on the couch for a movie day! He is happiest when his people are close by! 

Ishmael is crate trained and is making progress with his house training. He can manage a full work day in his crate but he doesn’t love being left alone in his crate so some barking should be expected as he gains confidence in being left alone. Implementing structure and routine right away will go a long way with him.

Ishmael loves car rides and accompanying you on outings and adventures! He does very well in public and would happily join you on your favourite patio or on a fun forest hike with friends.

Ishmael is a happy-go-lucky guy who is loving and so sweet! He would be an excellent snuggle buddy and adventure companion, and best of all, he promises to love you forever!
