Bubbles is a gentle, sensitive soul who is looking for a calm, understanding home where he can truly feel safe. He’s an introvert at heart and much prefers a quiet day at home with his trusted people over busy outings or social adventures. He loves to be a work-from-home buddy and sleep by his foster dad’s feet.

Bubbles can be nervous around new people and unfamiliar environments. He is learning that he can move away instead of reacting when he feels overwhelmed, and he continues to build confidence with the right support. When guests visit, he’s happiest relaxing in a quiet space away from the activity rather than being part of the excitement.

Because of this, Bubbles is best suited to a rural or semi-rural home with minimal noise and stimulation. A busy city lifestyle, frequent outings, or high-traffic environments would be too much for him. He also finds car rides overstimulating and does best when safely crated in the car.

At home, Bubbles is a true couch potato who loves belly rubs. He bonds deeply with his trusted people and enjoys calm, predictable routines. He’s not looking to be a “go everywhere” dog, he’s looking for a safe place to land, decompress, and just be.

Bubbles would thrive with an adopter who has experience with shy or sensitive dogs and is willing to continue working with him at his pace. Ongoing training in a quiet, familiar environment will help him continue to build confidence and navigate the world more comfortably.
