Finch

Finch is an old soul with a gentle heart and quietly charming. He is the kind of pup who feels like he’s been here before. He carries himself with a calm, thoughtful presence and a sweetness that’s impossible to miss. Reserved at first, he bonds deeply with “his people” and shows his affection in the softest ways.

Each morning when he comes out of his crate, he gives the sweetest little chirps — his special way of saying he’s ready for love. He’ll happily accept cuddles and affection until his “love tank” is full, then he’s content to go about his day.

He’s mostly low energy, with the occasional zoomie or on the spot billy goat hops that will absolutely melt your heart. He can sometimes be found enjoying independent play in his crate and is perfectly capable of entertaining himself. With other dogs, he prefers respectful companions to play tug-of-war, play with  toys, explore while in the backyard or on a walk, or to just lay next to. He’s also very patient and clever — if a toy is being enjoyed by someone else, he’ll calmly wait until the excitement fades… and then quietly claims his prize.

The perfect home for him would be described as a calm, loving household with patient adopters who appreciate a quieter, sensitive pup. He’d love to have a respectful canine friend (if any) and, of course, being a true comfort-seeker, plenty of blankets to make a cozy nest.

If you’re looking for a gentle companion with a tender heart and a soft, steady presence, Finch might just be your perfect match.
