Dale
Dale is a sweet soul always wanting to do what the other dogs are doing. He loves a good game of fetch, although be prepared to get your steps in because he hasn’t mastered the bringing it back yet. Favorite chew toy is a stick, the bigger the better. Dale is an affectionate pup who likes to be close and get attention.
Dale loves dogs and likes to follow them around doing what they are doing. He would do well with another dog in the home or he can be a solo dog with lots of puppy play dates with friends. Dale has not met a cat while in care but with proper intros and a dog savvy cat he could live with a cat. Dale loves people and attention but is still learning manners, he would do best in a home with older dog savvy respectful children. Dale will grow to be a medium energy dog.
Dale is doing really well with potty training, he knows to go to the door to go outside to do his business. If you don’t catch him quick enough at the door he will have an accident inside. Dale is doing well with crate training, he is quiet and clean in his crate for short stints of time. Dale is a smart boy and very food motivated, he would love a family who can commit to bringing him to positive reinforcement training classes. Dale does not enjoy the car ride, he will be quiet in the car but he drools a lot, with time and more car rides he will likely get used to the car.
Dale loves the snow and the cold doesn’t bother this big boy. He loves to hide under the couch for naps although that won’t be forever as this guy grows. Dale is excited to find his forever home and best friends.
