Keanu is a curious & shy puppy who is just starting to learn about the world! When meeting new people & in new situations, Keanu is nervous but with a patient owner, a gentle tone and lots of yummy treats, he is learning to be brave. He likes to stay close to his people and can develop a close bond very quickly which is why he needs a home that can keep up with his crate training so he can establish a daily routine including structured independence! He currently barks when left but he does settle. Consistency and positive crate association is working.
He loves the company of other dogs and looks up to them to boost his confidence. He needs a social, friendly dog in his forever home. He is food motivated and praise motivated, so will be a joy to train. He loves to chew and that means he needs safe to chew items in his daily life! He still requires all training support (ie. house training, crate training, leash training, manners training) from his people and would benefit from someone home more often.
Puppies are big commitments and we would love to see his people take him to positive reinforcement training classes so his humans can learn how best to communicate and help him grow into the best little guy! He’s a happy pup right now, and who he becomes will depend on your love, patience and guidance!

- Special: This puppy needs someone home more often with a middle of the day break at least to help with potty training. We would like to see him attend positive reinforcement training classes.
- Location: This puppy is looking for a home in the Ottawa area as he still has standard vetting covered by the adoption fee to complete at our vet in West Ottawa.
