Kee Kee

KeeKee is a professional “joy-seeker” who enters every room with a tail-wagging grin! Life for this girl is one big, exciting experiment, whether she is chasing down a rolling ball, engaging in a game of tug-of-war, or “hunting” her favorite snack: ice cubes. She has spent every moment of her life alongside her sister, Kim, and that bond has shaped her into a social, playful pup who believes that every hour is a good hour for a wrestling match or a shared nap.

While she is a high-energy firecracker for part of the day, KeeKee is also a gold-medal sleeper who values a good, deep recharge once the playing is done. She is incredibly food-motivated, which has made her a star pupil as she learns basic training like “sit” and “leave it.” Her house-training is a work in progress, but her excellent crate manners show just how capable she is of learning the rules of a home. She currently finds comfort in her crate as a personal sanctuary, though she’ll let you know with a little bark when it’s time for her midday potty break and some human connection.

KeeKee is a lover through and through, famously showering her foster family, including the kids, with endless puppy kisses. Because she is still in her “land shark” phase, her playful nips are just her way of saying “let’s go!” but she’ll need a family ready to guide those sharp puppy teeth toward toys instead of fingers. She is still finding her brave face on neighborhood walks when loud cars or bikes whiz by, but with a patient partner at the end of the leash, her natural curiosity always wins out.

The ideal life for KeeKee involves a soft blanket to burrow into and, ideally, a canine sibling to keep her company, as she truly shines when she has a friend to bathe and wrestle with. She isn’t just looking for a house; she’s looking for a playmate and a teacher who can keep up with her “smiling” zest for life.
