Kelon
Kelon is bright and very playful, he loves all kinds of toys – soft and hard – but semi-deflated soccer balls are his absolute favourite as he runs to catch & shakes them in his mouth !
He is a medium energy dog, very curious about the world. Like most pups he loves to play tug of war and zoom around the yard pushing speed limits and testing his agility so we do think a fenced in space would be ideal.
He currently lives with multiple dogs, respects their space and is always willing to play. He would enjoy life with another dog or being a solo dog with all the attention.
He is crate trained and house trained with regular breaks outside. He likes the freedom to linger & wander the yard on warm days. Set a pillow up for him in a sunny spot and he’s in heaven!
Kelon is silly and fast, and he can leap onto sofas and warm beds quite naturally
This beautiful brindle boy is a master cuddler, he learns your schedule quickly. After dinner you’re ready to wind down, he will meet you on the sofa to share your warmth. As you sit down to enjoy the comfort – within a few minutes he may already be snoring.
Kelon is a special boy, he didn’t have a great beginning to life being confined, but has made great strides in development since then.
Kelon has a slight vision impairment, which affects his peripheral vision and /or depth perception. This has never slowed him down. Kelon may need a little understanding from his ppl as he learns his new environment.
He is very food motivated, he is learning to control his impulses and listen to what’s being asked, but it’s hard as he is such a young happy wiggly pup.
Kelon is not a fan of cold weather. He’s quite happy with sunbeams and butterflies now. When snow and cold arrive he is quite fine with only going out for potty breaks then heading right back inside to bury himself under blankets again.
Kelon is still learning about leashed walks. He loves encouragement, rewards with treats and being allowed to say hello to almost everyone he sees will just make his day!
He greets all people with kind kisses with his happy tail wagging and his nose sniffing enthusiastically. He is reminded not to jump up in greeting. He is practicing sit, no jumping, off with gentle reminder touches.

- Special: Kelon has spatial depth perception issues due to some vision deficits. He was assessed by a neurologist and at this time nothing is needed. This does not slow him down.
