Forest
Forest is an observant puppy, not the type of dog to rush into things heard first. He can be a little shy at first but after a few minutes his sweet playful personality shines through. Forest can be rambunctious but then settles quickly, work hard play hard am I right, when he is settled he turns into the most cuddliest soon to be not so little lap dog.
Forest loves other dogs and listens to cues well from them. He could live as an only dog with doggy friends and play dates or with another dog in the home. Forest does not live with cats, he would do best in a cat free home. Forest has met children and loves them but he would prefer older dog savvy kids in the home. Forest is a medium energy puppy who will grow to be a medium energy dog.
Forest potty training is going well, he would need continued training as he ages to become accident free. Forest does well in the crate, he is vocal initially but settles down quickly. Forest knows the commands sit and down and his foster family is working on recall. He is a smart boy and picks things up quickly and listens well. Forest is food motivated and loves a good puzzle toy. He would love a family who can continue with positive reinforcement training and bring him to puppy classes. Forest does well in the car but sometimes gets car sick.
Some of Forest favorite thing are playing with the resident dogs, sniffing everything and chewing on fuzzy toys. He is an excellent watch dog and loves to keep a lookout to make sure there is no funny business going on with the birds and the bugs in the yard. If given the opportunity Forest will happily crawl into anyone’s lap who will let him.
