Cachina

Cachina is a confident, happy, friendly, outgoing, and opinionated girl with a zest for life. She is what most would call a velcro dog especially when first transitioning to a new home. She knows what she wants and what she doesn’t want by communicating with you through barks. Cachina seeks comfort from people and is willing to do anything for treats or human affection. She is happy to meet new people and will run right to them for pets.

Cachina loves dogs and loves to play with them but she can be demanding and pushy in her play. She would do well living with a confident dog who can tell her when they have had enough play or be a solo dog. Cachina has not met a cat while in care, she would do best in a cat free home. Cachina has not had much interactions with kids so we are asking for older kids in the home. Cachina is a medium energy girl, she loves her walks although they are slower paced sniff walks and a good game of fetch or keep away as she likes to do tires her right out. She has done some agility obstacles like jumps and tunnel and enjoyed them, she might enjoy non competitive agility.

Cachina is fully potty trained and crate trained. She can be rude looking for attention from her people with some jumping up and nipping at heels but with time and consistency she has greatly improved, her forever family will need to continue to work on this behavior. Cachina has shown an affinity for water, she enjoys getting in and out of the kiddie pool and shows interest in lakes and ponds. Cachina is smart and eager to please, she knows the commands sit, down and center (come and sit between standing legs). She has good house manners and likes to be close although she sometimes poses a tripping hazard. She would love a family who can continue wiht her training through positive reinforcement.

Cachina is always “smiling” and ready to explore the world. She loves pets and belly rubs and a good benebone to chew. You will never have a bad day with this girl around because she is always so happy in your presence her happiness is contagious.
