Meet Lime!
With his striking blue eyes, affectionate personality, and playful spirit, Lime is the kind of puppy who steals hearts wherever he goes. This sweet boy is ready to find a family to call his very own.
Lime is a 4-month-old puppy who has quickly proven himself to be a loving, happy-go-lucky companion. Equal parts cuddle bug and adventurer, he is always ready for snuggles after a day of exploring the world around him.
Lime is crate-trained and sleeps soundly through the night for 7–8 hours without accidents or potty breaks. He is making excellent progress with his house training and is learning that successful trips outside are rewarded with one of his favourite things — tasty treats and enthusiastic praise!
A confident and curious puppy, Lime enjoys meeting calm dogs of all sizes and adapts well to new canine friends. While he has a playful side, his favourite thing is being close to his people. Lime is the definition of a “heart dog”—he adores affection and will happily melt into your arms like a ragdoll when it’s time for cuddles.
Like any growing puppy, Lime loves to play. Whether he’s zooming around the yard, wrestling with his sister, exploring new sights and smells, or settling down with a good chew toy, he approaches life with excitement and joy. He has recently started swimming and will enter a pool all on his own. Because chewing is one of his favourite puppy hobbies, his future family should be prepared to provide plenty of appropriate chew toys and enrichment activities to keep him engaged.
Lime is a bright little boy who is highly food-motivated and eager to learn. He responds wonderfully to positive reinforcement and would thrive with a family committed to continuing his training and socialization. We think he would be an excellent candidate for puppy classes and would love to see him enrolled in reward-based training to help him develop into a confident, well-mannered adult dog.

- Special: Lime is still working on his house training, so he’ll benefit from a home where someone can provide a midday potty break or is home more often to help him succeed. He’ll need time, consistency, and patience as he continues learning. In return, he promises a lifetime of loyalty, laughter, cuddles, and unconditional love.
- Location: We’re looking for a home in or around the Ottawa-Gatineau area, as Lime still has outstanding veterinary care included in his adoption fee to complete at our veterinary partner in West Ottawa, which a new home will be required to attend.
