Rayden

Rayden is the kind of dog who wants to know everyone! He absolutely loves people and will happily make the rounds to say hello. Once he’s greeted everyone, though, he’s perfectly content to go find a comfy spot and settle down. He’s never far from his people, but he’s not an in-your-face kind of guy. Think shadow with excellent boundaries.

Rayden enjoys pets and attention, but he’s not a super cuddly dog. He’d much rather hang out nearby, keep an eye on what you’re doing, and make sure he’s included in the action.

He’s a medium-energy guy who would love a couple of walks each day and some time to play. Give him a few toys and you’ll get to see one of his favourite shows: Rayden tossing a toy into the air, chasing after it, and trying to catch it himself! He’s perfectly capable of entertaining himself, but he’ll always be happy to have you join in.

One of Rayden‘s favourite activities is sunbathing. He’ll happily follow a sunbeam around the house as it moves, looking for the perfect warm spot. His favourite place, though, might be the back of the couch, where he has the perfect vantage point to watch everything happening outside.

While Rayden is generally a great house companion, new things can sometimes get him a little too excited. He’s learning that he doesn’t need to react to everything that catches his attention, and redirection is working well. His new family should be ready to continue working with him and help him build on the progress he’s making.
