Serena
Meet Serena, a sweet, gentle, slightly goofy girl who is discovering that home life is pretty wonderful—and that cuddles, walkies, and comfy beds are some of life’s greatest treasures.
Serena lives with another dog and does well but she would do best with slow intros and she would be fine being a solo pup. Serena lives with cats and used to think cats were scary, but foster life has changed her mind. She is now gentle and sweet with them and may even follow them around like a little mother hen. Serena is gentle and loves the children she has met so far she would do best with dog-savvy, respectful kids. Serena is the perfect mix of adventure buddy and professional couch potato. She has great energy for walks, hikes, and even runs, but once she’s home, she settles beautifully. Give her a cozy spot, a bone to chew, or a human to snuggle beside, and she’s one happy girl.
And when Serena gets the zoomies? Watch out! This young lady has not yet received the memo about where all four legs are supposed to go. Her playful little bounces and goofy antics are absolutely adorable.
She is extremely gentle, affectionate, and respectful in the home. She isn’t demanding and is perfectly happy to curl up on her bed while her people are busy. She is crate trained and can manage a full workday alone and is quiet when left, but if she had her way, her humans would be home more often for cuddles and companionship. Serena is still building her confidence, so she can be shy when meeting new people or experiencing new things. The good news? She is curious, adaptable, and learning quickly. Every day, she gets a little braver and a little more comfortable in her world. A quieter home and patient humans will help her truly blossom. Serena is good in the car.
She’s a gentle, loving, goofy girl with so much potential. If you’re looking for a sweet companion who can join you for an adventure and then happily snooze beside you afterward, Serena might just be your girl.
