Yenna

If your dream dog is equal parts athlete, comedian, and professional cuddle enthusiast, Yenna might just be your perfect match.

This energetic girl is always ready for her next adventure. Whether it’s a long walk, a hike, a jog, or simply exploring the neighbourhood, Yenna is happiest when she has something to do. She has incredible stamina and would love an active family that enjoys getting outside. Bonus points if you can appreciate a dog who can catch almost anything you toss her. Treats, toys, balls…if it’s in the air, Yenna is probably going to catch it!

At home, Yenna is affectionate, silly, and full of personality. She has the cutest oversized ears that seem to have a mind of their own, especially when you make kissy noises or whistle. She’ll tilt her head dramatically as if she’s trying her hardest to understand every word you’re saying. And when she’s ready for affection, don’t expect her to politely ask. She’ll slide herself right over your legs and patiently wait for one of her favourite standing belly rubs.

Yenna is house trained, crate trained, and does well with a consistent routine. She’s happy to relax in her crate while you’re at work and already knows commands like sit, off, and give.

Like many young dogs, Yenna is still learning that not every new friend needs to be greeted with maximum enthusiasm. She can be reactive when meeting unfamiliar dogs or other four-legged animals, but with slow introductions she settles in well and genuinely enjoys canine company. Once she’s made a friend, be prepared because she’ll want to play…a lot! Her manners are still a work in progress, and she’s looking for a family committed to continuing her training and helping her build confidence.

Because she loves to chase anything that runs, Yenna is looking for a cat-free home. She’ll also need a detached home with a securely fenced yard where she can safely stretch her legs.

Yenna is looking for a family who understands that great dogs aren’t born, they’re built through patience, consistency, and shared adventures. In return, you’ll get a loyal companion who will make you laugh every day, keep you active, and love you with her whole heart.
