Tater

Tater is a cuddle bug who loves attention and being held. He’s playful and full of puppy energy, but he also has a quiet side and will happily settle in for snuggles. He loves climbing all over his people, playing with his siblings and trying out toys. He’s already starting to learn his name.

Tater is a typical puppy, so expect jumping, nipping and scratching while he learns his manners. He’s curious about other dogs and would likely enjoy a home with other animals. He hasn’t been tested with cats. As puppies have sharp teeth, Tater will do best in a home with dog-savvy children 8+ years of age. Tater is healthy with no known health concerns and no special needs.

Tater is looking for a home with a fenced yard or direct access outside as puppies need lots of potty breaks as they learn house training. As Tater grows he will need a family who will offer him plenty of exercise, training and patience. He can live in a townhome, single-family home or country home, in a quiet suburb, busy suburb or country setting. He’s not yet house trained, crate trained or taught basic obedience, so his new family should be ready to start from the beginning.

Priority will be given to a family who is going to bring Tater to puppy obedience classes using positive based reinforcement training techniques.

Tater is a happy puppy and who he becomes as an adult dog will depend on training, socialization, patience and his new family!
