Become a Foster
When you signed up as a volunteer with Sit With Me, it was no doubt because you loved animals, and dogs in particular. What allows us to do what we do as a rescue is our amazing foster homes.
It should come as no surprise that we’re always looking for more foster homes. As you can imagine, the more approved foster families we have, the more dogs we can help. Some may think that they aren’t qualified to be a foster, but we’re here to demystify that.
There are no financial requirements to being a foster; food and vetting appointments are covered by Sit With Me. Basically, as a foster you help rebuild the confidence of the dogs we help; you’re there to sit with them, to love them, to play with them.
You’re not alone in this process either, we’ve got a great group here to help from other foster families, to members of the Sit With Me team, we’re there for each other.
