Addax
Dax is a sweet guy who loves his people. He has bursts of energy throughout the day and would love someone who can take him for a couple walks daily and enjoy some interactive play. He is super excited whenever his people walk into a room and will make you feel so special. He is doing great with his housetraining and asks to go outside. He does appreciate getting lots of praise for being a good boy. He is a playful soul and would love a home that can provide him with durable chews!
He is a handsome and funny guy, eager to please, and is very food and praise motivated. He would do well in training classes and would love a family who can continue his training with encouragement. At the end of a great day, he’s happy to sleep on a bed by himself or cuddled up on the couch with you.
He is very handsome and enjoys meeting new people. With friendly dogs, he requires proper intros. When he has a yummy treat or chew, he is not keen on sharing it with another pooch. He would be fine with another friendly dog in the house to help him learn the ropes, but this isn’t required. He does sometimes bark at other dogs on walks but bringing treats along can help a ton!
He is working on his crate training as he can be stressed when his beloved people leave. Having someone home more often is needed with crate time throughout the day.
He is a world-class snuggler, and wants nothing more than to curl up on the couch with you and nap the afternoon away. He truly is looking for a best friend human and we know that a special human is out there right now wishing for a bestie of their own!

- Special: Addax needs someone home more often as he is working on his crate training. He is looking for a home in the Ottawa/Gatineau area who can attend outstanding vet appointments at our vet in West Ottawa to complete his outstanding vetting. He is not a candidate for dog parks so if these are important to you, please do not apply.
