Aston

Meet Aston! Aston is a fun loving boy who enjoys running, digging and playing. He is very curious and enjoys investigating anything that may be considered food. He is excellent in the car and will be a perfect travel buddy.

 

Aston is a smart boy and has mastered sit, stay & lay down. He is needing a fully fenced yard if in the city as he is still working on his recall but needs a space where he can play off-leash. Aston does have on-leash reactivity and will bark & pull when passing another dog or sometimes a person. He currently lives with another dog but due to his reactivity, having him make canine friends is a slow process. He would benefit from living in a low dog traffic area while his people continue working on this behaviour. Priority will be given to applicants willing to work with a positive based trainer.

 

Aston currently lives with a 6 year old and interacts with neighbourhood kids. He does get easily excited so he would need kiddos who are sturdy on their feet. He is house trained & crate trained. When you first wake up, he is happy to start the day and will wiggle and squeal while waiting for you to let him out of his crate. He hasn’t shown signs of separation anxiety and has been successfully left alone up to 4 hours at a time.
