Berry
Berry is a sweet, gentle little girl with a softer approach to life. While her siblings may sometimes choose chaos, Berry tends to take things down a notch. She’s less rambunctious than some of the other puppies in her litter, but she certainly isn’t shy. Berry is very people-focused and is quick to make her way over to greet anyone new.
There is something especially endearing about Berry’s naturally sweet disposition. She enjoys being close to people and readily seeks out interaction and affection, without needing to be the loudest puppy in the room. She has a lovely way of connecting with people and seems genuinely delighted whenever someone new arrives to say hello.
Berry has been raised alongside her littermates and is comfortable interacting and playing with other dogs. She has also had exposure to cats in her foster home. As with any young puppy, her future family will need to continue teaching her appropriate manners with both canine and feline friends as she grows.
Berry was quick to catch on to using the litter pan and has continued to use it consistently. Formal house training and crate training have not yet begun, so her new family should be prepared to start those skills from the beginning and help her make the transition from puppy-pen life to living in a home.
Although formal training is still ahead of her, Berry is at the perfect age to begin learning about the big wide world. We’d love to see her future family continue her socialization through positive experiences with new people, places, sounds, surfaces, and environments, along with reward-based puppy training to help her grow into a happy and confident adult.
Berry may be a little quieter than some of her siblings, but she certainly doesn’t fade into the background. Her people-focused nature, gentle personality, and eagerness to greet new friends make her a lovely little companion.
If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate puppy who would rather charm her way into the room than barrel through the front door, Berry may be exactly who you’ve been waiting for.

- Housing type: Single or Townhome.

She’ll need time, consistency, patience, and plenty of positive reinforcement as she learns the ropes.
- Location: We’re looking for a home in or around the Ottawa area, as this puppy still has outstanding veterinary care included in the adoption fee to complete at our veterinary partner in West Ottawa, which a new home will be required to attend.
- Adoption Fee: $900
