Colby

Sweet Colby is looking for an active family looking for a higher energy dog. He is a curious and playful boy, enjoying spending his time working on his chew toys and sticks, learning new tricks, and lounging on the couch.

He is very food motivated which makes training a lot of fun. He already knows sit, laydown, and shake a paw.  He knows when it is walk time and gets very excited for his time in the outdoors.  A fenced-in yard is not required but would be a huge bonus for him.  If no fenced in yard, a long line works well for Colby.

Polite with other dogs, Colby would do well in a home with other playful and friendly dogs that are okay with larger dogs, or he would do well as a solo dog in the home. He is crate trained and house trained and is not destructive when left loose. Just be sure to put away those socks and mitts!  He has successfully been left alone for a full 8 hour work day.

Car rides are one of Colby’s favourite things. Just be sure to secure him in his seat unless you want him climbing into the front with you!
