Diamond

Diamond is a sweet and shy girl that needs a calm home and patient family.  She loves all the dogs in the home but prefers her big german shepherd foster brother over all others.  She follows him around all of the time and looks to him for reassurance in new or stressful situations.  She gets along with all of the dogs in the home and loves to go run around the yard to play.  She sure loves the snow!

Diamond is slowly warming up to humans.  She still hides under a desk or in her crate when uncomfortable but when the home is calm, she will come up on the sofa.  Due to her shy nature, living with kids is not an option for her as it would be too overwhelming.  Once she trusts you, she does like to be petted and will flip over for belly rubs. This does take time and patience but it is very rewarding!

She is crate trained and loves her crate and is almost fully house trained.  Of course, accidents may occur while she gets comfortable in a new environment.  Diamond currently lives with cats and will try to chase them when no one is looking.  She gets excited when it’s time for a walk!  She walks well on leash and loves trail walking where she can sniff everything and go at her own pace.  Busy, city life like downtown cores will be too overwhelming for her.

This girl has so much potential and is looking for an owner that will give her time and patience to continue to shine.  She’d love a calm and loving owner to give her a safe place to grow abd learn.  If you are the right home to let this Diamond shine, please apply.
