Dill

Dill is a silly, happy little guy who seems to have figured out very early in life that making people laugh is an excellent way to get attention. Every litter needs a resident ham, and Dill has enthusiastically volunteered for the position.

This goofy boy loves interacting with his people and seems genuinely delighted when his antics get a reaction. Whether he’s doing something ridiculous, playing with his siblings, or simply finding a new way to entertain himself, Dill has a knack for making the humans around him smile. There’s a playful, lighthearted quality to this little guy that makes him a whole lot of fun to have around.

Behind all that silliness is a social puppy who enjoys connecting with people. Dill doesn’t just want an audience; he genuinely enjoys the interaction that comes along with it. Dill has been raised alongside his littermates and is comfortable interacting and playing with other dogs. He has also had exposure to cats in his foster home. He was quick to catch on to using the litter pan and has continued to use it consistently. Formal house training and crate training have not yet begun, so his new family should be prepared to start those skills from the beginning and help him make the transition from puppy-pen life to living in a home.

Although Dill hasn’t begun formal training yet, his love of interacting with people gives his future family a wonderful opportunity to channel some of that natural showmanship into learning. Positive, reward-based training should give this funny little guy another way to engage with his humans while building all the skills he’ll need as he grows.

Dill is the kind of puppy who brings a little extra entertainment wherever he goes. His future family should be prepared for puppy antics, plenty of laughs, and the distinct possibility that Dill will quickly learn which behaviours earn the biggest reaction from his audience.
