Evan

Evan is a happy cuddle bug who loves to play and snuggle with his people and his dog pals at his foster parents’ place. This charming, medium energy boy will be your shadow at home and great on lead for his walks and meeting new people. He is a little reluctant at first with dogs bigger than him, but will warm up eventually to the friendly ones. He now hangs out a lot with his foster brother who is twice his size and we believe he would do best with another dog in the home to play with. We don’t know what he will be like with cats.

Evan is fully crate-trained and is quickly catching on to house-training. He will be vocal if he hears you from his crate, but will settle in quickly overnight or when you have left for a full work day. We recommend he is crated when unattended as he does bark and will get into things. He is highly food motivated, and could use a slow feeder to help him slow down at mealtimes. He will often bound around like a baby goat when it’s mealtime!

Evan is very bright and lives to please his people. He is a fast learner and would do well in an activity that blends his athleticism and smarts. He is a fun dog with an off switch, and can cuddle while you read or watch TV. One of his most favourite things is someone to pet his head while he rests on you.
