This sweet boy took time to come out of his shell in his foster home, and he’ll need that same patience and understanding as he transitions into his forever home. New environments, people, and routines can feel overwhelming for Felix, and he’s still working through some fears, especially outside the home or when meeting new people. Because of this, his adopters will need to be committed to going at his pace and helping him build confidence gently and positively.

But here’s the beautiful part, once Felix feels safe, he truly shines. At home, he’s an easygoing, cuddly, affectionate companion who just wants to love and be loved. He’s happiest lounging on the couch, staying close to his person, and being your constant, comforting presence. His goofy, sweet personality starts to peek through more and more as he settles in, and it’s incredibly rewarding to watch.

Felix is looking for a calm, patient home where he can continue to grow and feel secure. In return, he promises to be your devoted best friend, the kind who follows you from room to room, keeps your feet warm while you work, and reminds you every day just how special it is to earn a dog’s trust.
