Goose

Goose is a mellow, easy going pup. He’s happy to greet people and doesn’t mind being picked up and cuddled. He gives gentle kisses and snuggles for a short while but then goes off to sit by the door (presumably because its cooler because this boy runs hot).

Goose does well with other dogs, he is not too pushy and listens to cues well. He could live with another dog or be an only dog with doggy friend playdates. Goose has not met a cat while in care, he could live with a dog savvy cat with slow intros. Goose has been around kids and done well, he could live in a home with dog savvy children. Rowdy is a medium energy dog, he loves wrestling with his brother and the other big dogs in the home. He loves to go on trail walks and then naps hard after.

Goose is working on his crate training but he will need continued support from his forever family. His potty training is going well, he mostly poops outside but has the occasional pee accident. Goose foster mom uses the command outside to get him to go outside to do his business. Goose loves toys, chasing balls, going for walks and lounging outside (cold does not bother him). He loves ear scratches and belly rubs being his favourite. Goose is a smart boy and he would love a family who can bring him to positive reinforcement training classes. Goose is food motivated and has good recall.

Goose has a very endearing laid back personality. He is not a big cuddler but he does gently show affection. He is the full package; sweet, affectionate, cuddly with a little independence thrown in.
