Hazel

Hazel is a very sweet and kind dog who loves lots of cuddles. She is nervous initially and needs time to get used to her surroundings but once she opens up she is a gem. Hazel loves to be outside and go on walks and could be a good hiking partner.

Hazel loves dogs no matter the size, she is playful and loving and would love another companion in the home. Hazel does not live with cats, she would do best in a cat free home. Due to Hazel nervousness around people she would do best in a home with older kids or no kids. Hazel is medium energy, she loves to go for long walks and with some training, she has the potential to be a good running partner.

Hazel is fully potty trained and she is still working on crate training. If she is left loose she is not destructive but if there are shoes around she may play with them. Hazel does not love the car as it makes her nervous. Hazel is a timid dog but like most timid dogs, once she trusts you, she is an absolute joy. Her family will need to be committed to being patient and going slow and celebrating the small milestones that she hits because to her they are a big deal. She is a young dog who still loves to play and have a good time.

Hazel has beautiful eyes and when she looks at her trusted humans, you just melt. She is worth the patience it will take to gain her trust because once she opens up, she is the kindest dog with the sweetest soul.
