Homer is a lover not a fighter. He’s a nervous guy who takes some time to warm up but once he does he is a loving sweet guy. Homer is food motivate which help him warm up to new things quicker.
Homer would do well living with another confident canine companion. Homer lives with a cat, he mostly ignored the cat. He could live with a dog savvy cat. Homer is a nervous guy, he would prefer to live in a home with older dog savvy children. Homer is medium energy, he loves going for walks and hikes in the woods. When he gets home from walks and still has some energy he gets the zoomies around the house.
Homer is crate trained and does well in his crate, he has also been left loose occasionally and also does well. Homer is fully potty trained. Homer is a smart guy and catches on quickly, he would love a family who can continue with his training. Homer does great in the car and loves going for car rides.
Homer’s beauty outside matches the beauty inside. He is such an amazing, wonderful companion, willing to do anything no matter what, as long as he’s with his human. Homer has nothing but love and loyalty to offer the right family who will be patient with him and go slow and teaching him that he has nothing to be scared of and he will always be safe and loved for the rest of his days.
