Honey Bee

Honey is a very sweet natured dog. She can be nervous of new things and approaches new people cautiously but quickly warms up and leans in for pets. When she is comfortable around her people she loves all the pets and attention. Honey loves to give kisses and cuddle and she is a smart girl who picks up on things quickly.

Honey loves dogs and gets a lot of confidence from them, she would love another dog buddy in the home or is living as a solo dog she would love doggy play dates with friends. Honey has met a cat and was interested but did not chase, with slow intros and a dog savvy cat we think she could live with cats. While Honey is cautious around people she has been around older children and enjoyed the attention, she would do best in a home with older kids or no kids. Honey is medium energy level dog, she loves to run and play with her dog friends but settles down quickly when everyone else does and she is also content to sit in the garden and relax.

Honey is crate trained but she finds it very stressful and will spend time trying to escape (often successfully). She prefers to be loose with the other dogs and is not stressed when left loose with them. She does not damage anything when left free. Honey is fully potty trained. Honey will need a family who can help her gain confidence with the world and be patient with her. She does great with human and dog visitors to the house. She walks well on a leash but is still nervous in new places. Honey is fine with the car and happily jumps in.

Honey craves companionship and gets a lot of confidence from her people and her doggy siblings. She is a gentle, quiet, affectionate girl who loves walks, splashing in the pond, playing chase with other dogs and chewing up toys. Honey is quick to bond to her people and she has endless amounts of love and devotion to shower her lucky family.
