Kai, the affectionate Velcro dog with a heart as big as his soulful eyes, stuck to his humans like glue, craving their reassurance and companionship at every turn. Despite his uncertainties, Kai’s sweetness and gentle nature never wavered. His unconditional love knew no bounds, and he showered affection upon all who crossed his path with a tender lick or a gentle nuzzle
Kai would love another pooch in the home willing to play but this is not required. He could live with a dog savvy cat but would likely try to engage the cat in play. Kai is insecure, he will need a family who can boost his confidence and socialize him.
These puppies are not house or leash trained and will need a home committed to helping them with developing their socialization skills in the world. They love to chew, play, cause moments of chaos followed by moments of pure joy! A puppy is a lot of work so please do include in your application your plan to help your puppy be the best he/she can be and be sure you have the time and commitment to bring a puppy home. Hint: we will be prioritizing homes committed to take their new pup to positive reinforcement training classes.

He is looking for a home in the Ottawa area to attend outstanding vet appointments at our vet in West Ottawa to complete his standard vetting covered by the adoption fee. We are looking for a home willing to take him to positive reinforcement training classes!
