Kenji

Kenji loves to play fetch although the bring it back concept he is still learning. He loves to cuddle and be close to either his people or the dogs in the home whether they want to cuddle or not. When he wants a toy from another dog he gives off the cutest howl that sounds a lot like a rooster.

Kenji loves other dogs and requires another dog in the home. The other dog in the home would need to be tolerant of a playful puppy but respectful of his limitations, although he does love to wrestle. Kenji has not met a cat while in care, he would do best in a cat free home. Kenji requires a home with older, respectful, dog savvy children. Kenji is a medium energy guy, due to his disability he requires multiple short walks a day as opposed to longer walks. He will never be a candidate for a jogging partner or hiking partner unless his family is willing to carry him. Kenji can go up and down a few stairs but due to his disability he cannot do full flights of stairs, his forever family would need to be committed to carrying him up and down the stairs if he lives in a two story home.

Kenji is fully crate trained and mostly potty trained although he does not enjoy the rain so may have an accident during inclement weather. Kenji loves to run around with his dog friends in the backyard. Kenji has a disability will forever affect his life but he knows no different but he can be very dramatic when something scares him or he doesn’t like something. Kenji loves his people and loves his dog buddies.
