Kim

Kim is the ultimate “professional snuggler” who believes the best place to be is exactly where you are.

She is a happy, active girl who loves to run and play, especially with other dogs. She has lots of energy and will thrive in a home that can give her regular exercise and opportunities to burn off that puppy enthusiasm. She’s social and playful with dogs when she has the chance to interact off-leash. She gets very excited when she spots other dogs on leashed walks and may bark or pull. With patience and continued training, she’ll learn to stay calm, and she needs an adopter ready to help her through that process.

She is still very much a puppy and will need continued training and consistency. Kim tends to treat hands like chew toys when she’s excited, so her future family should be prepared to work on this with training support. Because of this, we would not recommend a home with small children.

Kim is fantastic in her crate and is nearly fully house trained. She does very well overall, with only occasional accidents during the day if left alone for longer periods.

She is extremely food motivated, which will be a huge asset for training. She loves treats, meals, and is always ready for a snack, even ice cubes are a favourite. She also enjoys chewing on bully sticks and Kongs. As she’s still learning what is and isn’t appropriate to chew, crating when unsupervised is recommended, as she may try to taste things she finds around the house.

After she’s had enough exercise, Kim settles nicely and shows her affectionate side. She can be very snuggly and loves being close to her people. She is incredibly loving and enjoys showering her humans with puppy kisses. She is looking for a patient, active home that understands puppy behaviour and is ready to help her grow into the amazing dog she’s going to be.
