Leon

Leon is a goofy and funny guy who likes to feel loved and adores a good play.  He can be initially shy but that is usually quickly forgotten if you’ve got some yummy treats nearby.  Loud noises will frighten him, so he will need a calmer neighbourhood.  He is super food motivated and will be fun to train. He likes to play wrestle with his canine housemates, and will need to quality assess any and all fun toys to see if they may explode. Open up your back door into your fenced yard and this guy will bounce outside, chatting away with his “wooo-wooo-wooo”,  happy and eager to play.  He then will come inside after he’s tuckered out, and – excuse you very much – will jump up and collapse on your lap in the tiniest and sweetest little snail shell formation.  He needs to be close by his people for naps and easily is lulled away into dreams as he finally feels safe.  He would be an excellent match for a couple looking to add a best friend to their lives and would love it even more if they have another doggy friend in the home!
Leon will need confidence building and lots of praise when making good choices.  Bringing treats along when out and about will definitely help keep this guy engaged and wanting to please.  He still requires support with house training, crate training, leash training and would benefit from someone dedicated to his well-being!
Dogs are big commitments and we would love to see his people take him to positive reinforcement training classes!  Leon is lively, lovely and ready to find you!
